Production budgets in Google Sheets
OneBudget is a Google Sheets add-on for production companies. It turns a structured budget spreadsheet into a working budgeting tool: rates, phases, territories, margins and client-ready PDFs, all from a sidebar inside Sheets.
What it does
- Budgets from your ratesLines take their rates from your own rate card, so every budget starts from the same agreed figures.
- PhasesKeep the projected budget, then create Estimated, Actuals and Wrap phases from it and compare them side by side.
- Structured linesAdd, duplicate and remove lines from the sidebar, so the formulas and layout stay intact.
- Territories and currenciesSwitch a budget between territories and show costs in a second currency.
- MarginsSee section and total margins while you work, with a protected view for company profit.
- Client-ready PDFsExport the bid letter, summary and budget as one PDF, with empty sections and lines left out, saved to the Drive folder you choose.
How it works
OneBudget is licensed to production companies. Your company receives a OneBudget budget template set up with your sections and rates, and your team installs the OneBudget add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Budgets are ordinary Google Sheets files in your own Google Drive: you own them, share them and keep them as you always do.
