Terms of service
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply to the OneBudget add-on for Google Sheets, OneBudget budget templates and this website (together, "OneBudget"). By installing or using OneBudget you accept them on behalf of yourself and the company you work for. If your company has signed a separate agreement or accepted a quote with us, that agreement takes priority where it differs.
1. Who we are
OneBudget is provided by Derek Watson, trading as OneBudget, NIE X3736453B, C/ Mayor 15, 22467 Villanova (Huesca), Spain ("we"). Contact: hello@onebudget.pro.
2. Licence
- OneBudget is licensed to a company (the "licensee") for the number of users and the period agreed with us. It is licensed, not sold.
- The licence covers exclusive use by the licensee, its subsidiaries, and the employees and freelancers working on its productions.
- OneBudget may not be supplied to, or modified for use by, other companies or freelancers for other business, and may not be resold, sublicensed or redistributed.
- You may not copy, decompile or reverse engineer the add-on or attempt to extract its code or calculation logic.
3. Ownership
OneBudget, including the templates' design and structure, their formulas and all code, remains our property. We may license OneBudget, in modified or unmodified form, to other parties. The add-on's code is not accessible in your budgets.
4. Your data and confidentiality
The budgets you create, and everything you enter in them, belong to you. Your specific content, such as rates, line items, company information and terms and conditions, will never be shared with other parties. How the add-on handles data is described in the privacy policy.
5. Fees
Licence fees, and any fees for setting up a template, are those in the quote or agreement accepted by the licensee. Customisation, further development and support beyond what was agreed are charged separately at our rates at the time.
6. Using OneBudget properly
- Make structural changes (adding, duplicating and removing lines, showing and hiding sections, creating phases) through the OneBudget sidebar. Changes made by hand to a template's structure, formulas or sheet names can stop it working correctly, and putting them right is not covered by the licence.
- You are responsible for the figures in your budgets and for checking them before relying on them or sending them to clients.
7. Availability and changes
OneBudget runs on Google Workspace and depends on Google's services, which we do not control. We aim to keep OneBudget working and to fix problems promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update OneBudget to improve it, fix problems or follow changes in Google's services.
8. Support
Support is by email at hello@onebudget.pro. When reporting a problem, please send a copy of the file with the affected cells highlighted and a short note of what looks wrong.
9. Liability
OneBudget is a tool to help prepare budgets; it does not give financial, tax or legal advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability in any year is limited to the licence fees paid for that year. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the licence
The licence ends when its agreed period ends without renewal, or if these terms are seriously breached and the breach is not put right within 30 days of notice. When it ends, you stop using the add-on; your budgets and PDFs remain yours.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date, and we will tell licensed customers about significant changes.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. The courts of Huesca, Spain, have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to use other courts.
